I’m a Scottie!
I am incredibly fortunate to be pursuing a BA in Creative Arts at Agnes Scott College. Agnes Scott is a Liberal Arts College with a concentration on leadership, global learning, innovation, and collaboration. If I could summarize my education at a liberal arts school, I would describe it as well rounded. I am pushed the to engage in opportunities that make me a thoughtful professional as well as artist. In my freshman and sophomore years alone i’ve engaged in the, interned at the Atlanta History Center, and connected with Scotties from all years through our connections to the school.

Office of Accessibility
Volunteering at the Office of Accessibility has been incredibly rewarding. I work closely with the Director of Accessible Education to execute events and provide constructive feedback based on student input. My experience as an RA combined with my love for the arts allows me to bring an extra layer of perspective and creativity to the department. I am so grateful to OAE and Director Dominique for the amazing opportunity and trust to work in this role.

FCNL – Friends Committee on National Legislation
FCNL is an official chapter at Agnes Scott that lobbies alongside the Quakers. Our mission is to promote kindness and fair treatment while exercising our constitutional rights of advocacy and freedom of speech. This year I’ve had the privilege of lobbying with Senator Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff Congress. Our primary focus has been the fair treatment of immigrants in the US and to restrict the violent and invasive practices of ICE. Next week I will be lobbying in Washington DC to discourage financial backing towards the war on Iran and ICE. I am incredibly honored to speak on such important issues and couldn’t have done it without my fellow FCNL Scotties.

SCALE – Atlanta History Center
During my sophomore year of undergrad, I had the priviledge of interning at the Atlanta History Center. It was a week long internship that highlighted the inner workings of a museum and its goals to garner a wider variety of attendants. During my time there, I collaborated in a group of four to design and present a program for the Atlanta History Center that appeals to college age attendants (18 – 32). The program ideas my team presented have the possibility of being used in future museum programs.
