- Watch the 12 minute video Professor Nell put in the announcements tab
2. Make a folder with all your images (original size) and open Photoshop
I recommend being very organized and titling your folders based on size, content, and time period
3. Click on the “File” tab and go down to the tab that says “Scripts”
4. Click on “Image Processor”
5. On the first tab that says “Select Folder” select the folder you made with the original sizes of your images
6. on the tab below it that says “Select Folder” select a new folder to put the resized images in OR created a new folder. I labeled mine “Resized, Content of Folder, Portfolio Class, 2026”
7. Make sure that the dimensions of the images are.
Quality = 6
W = 1920
H = 1080
8. Once this is set, click “Run” and Photoshop will convert the images and put them in your selected folder
9. Finally, go through the process of Downloading ImageOptim, opening the app, and uploading your converted images to ensure they take up as little space while also being high quality. These instructions are on the same page of the image optimizing page that Nell provided.
Thank you Nell, my images are much smaller but still look right!
